BS EN 60079-7:2015 is essential for professionals working in explosive atmospheres; particularly those working with gas and those who are certifying and using products that require ATEX and IECEx certification.
This part of IEC 60079 specifies the requirements for the design, construction, testing and marking of electrical equipment and Ex Components with type of protection increased safety intended for use in explosive gas atmospheres.
BS EN 60079-7:2015 includes many major and minor technical updates. It also partially supersedes BS EN 60079-15:2010.
